This site was started on April 4th, 1999

The main thing to know is that this site is in no way related to HBO or DavidChase films. It is an independant site designed to explore, discuss and document The Sopranos.

The Sopranos hit the big time in 1999 when HBO launched the first season. It took off like a runaway train and caused very many people who didn't have HBO to order it so they could see what this show was all about.

To my knowledge, this site was either the first or one of the first to start recording and documenting the episodes. As popularity grew, other sites started to open up as well.

This site is designed to be run as a site I myself would like to visit. That's why you'll see almost no banner advertisement.

The "Overview and Reaction" page is written immediately after the episode is over and put out there for comments, ideas, suggestions and criticisms. I'm just like you, a fan of the show, and I will misinterpret things and not have the answers.

Some people have asked why I don't have links to other Sopranos Related sites. Well, to be honest, other than one or two, I haven't found any that I like. That is to say ones that are original, easy to navigate, easy to read and don't overwhelm me with banners. In addition some sites have blatantly taken entire pages from this site and put them on their own. Why even start a site if you're going to steal the work someone else did?

I probobly will not spend a lot of time getting sound clips or video clips. Both are quite time consuming and I'd rather spend the effort on the episodes and other avenues of the show.

This site will continue for years to come and hopefully will get better as time goes by.
