| These are the comments, ideas, suggestions and opinions people have submitted after viewing the first new episode. It's pretty good reading and it's very clear that people have very strong opinions. I've done no editing on any of the following feedbacks. It's exactly the way the mail came in. Enjoy.... |
| Tony's sister has to go...... horrible, out of place, etc.. |
| 1.
Tony still does not trust "Pussy". In the family, no one runs
to Puerto Rico and is accepted back with open arms..."for get about it". "Pussy" must be killed. He's not trusted and if you are not trusted within the family you got to go...that's the end of it. 2. Christopher will eventually screw things up at the so-called "Brokerage" house. With the two "loose cannons" that kiss his ass, only bad thing will happen and it all will be a total mess as Tony has to get involved, because Christopher in his "junkie" ways will lose control causing undue attention to the family. Especially, now that his girl friend is pissed at him...I don't trust her either. 3. Dr. Melfi will obviously treat Tony again. Call it professionally ethical or something like that. 4. Tony's sister, "Janice" is as evil as the mother. She knows that happened between Tony and mother and like a shark; she smells blood/money opportunities and will spilt again for another 20 years. Good riddens I say. She's just another thorn in Tony's side. 5. Tony's mother is obviously playing the poor little dying old lady part. What a crock! Tony should kill her, but deep down he wouldn't. My guess, he will protect his mother from his conniving sister, Janice. Everyone knows it was Janice and/or some of her "posses" who recked the mother's house. Think about. 6. Tony's wife needs him to continue to seek therapy....to save her marriage. 7. Lastly, Tony will stay the boss. |

I agree,
all the new characters are out of place! The sisters, the new |
|
Okay, the
sister is gross....won't last in the show....where was she last |
|
Hi! 5 basic points: 1) There is something missing here...some kind of backbone that the first season had...the first season was not as scattered. 2) What is with this Christopher and his brokerage buisiness already? In the next to near episodes in the first season he was looking for his "arc"...than he finally sees his name mentioned in the newspaper... And now he is sitting nice nice and pretty behind a desk? There is something really missing there..no connection from the first and new season. 3)the sister?
are they for real? She does not fit in. She looks like a bag lady...I
love the storyline of the sister comming to town..however her appearance,,, 4) too many new faces!!! too scattered!! the first season was great cause of the close group... 5)Pussy. They accepted him back too soon...should have waited an episode or two.... Finally, despite all..... the show is still numero uno with me!!! |
| I DON'T THINK TONYS SISTER FITS IN MYSELF. I DON'T THINK THERE'S A PLACE FOR HER IN THIS SERIES, SHE STANDS OUT IN A VERY ODD WAY BUT I JUST CAN'T PUT MY FINGER ON IT, YOU KNOW! |
| Keep
Christopher the loser, he reminds me of so many of my friends......Pussy shouldn't be trusted, he's probably a rat to the Feds.......the sister is an interesting case, she lives behind several facades, but probably has her Mother's cunning for the business. Meadow already believes in the business and Grandma probably has insider information about the Family Business for her. Grandma's probably been the brains behind Junior anyway. |

episode 1 is looking like a daytime drama with all sorts of new faces and new plot twists, disappointing but i still am optimistic |
| 1.
I disagree with what people are saying about the sister! SHE WORKS. She's halarious. A bit mischevious, a great anagonist to take place of The mom-it's perfect. 2. Go Dr. Melfi, screaming at Tony! I think she's starting to get issues! I think it's cool that the writing shows her as scared and that tragic things actually happen to her, very real life. 3. Christopher sucks. Those thugs suck. 4. There needs to be more of Anthony Jr. in the show because that kid is hysterical. 5. They're making it seem like Pussy shouldn't be trusted, however...I truly just don't know. I want to trust him, he seems like a good guy. Who knows. 6. People should not be disappointed about all the new faces. I recall last season when that Jimmy guy was only introduced to be the rat. There are a lot of characters that come and go in this show. It's great, it keeps it new and interesting. And they didn't get rid of any other characters-it's solid! |

Tremendous
show that exceeded the hype! Think about it... if you didn't open |
|
1- I don't
like Janice ( Tony's sis)- she has got to go |
| 1.
I think Janice fits in. She's fat like Tony and screwed in the head like
Olivia. Her character could add alot of flavor to the show. 2. I think the script was written perfectly---they didn't "overdo" any characters, although Silvio could stand to do something with that fake hair of his. He's starting to look like a cartoon character. 3. We need more Pauly. 4. Christopher's becoming a coke addict, which could be a good story line, but I don't particularly care for it. 5. What's this sudden devotion Meadow (fat-faced Meadow) has to her Grandma? 6. I think the opening montage was good, however, they should have used clips from LAST SEASON, so people who never saw the show could kind of catch on, and people who have seen it, could kind of reminisce. 7. All in all, I was NOT disappointed like the rest of you sfachimes. |
|
I think the
whole plot line is Christopher's screenplay that he was |
|
I think it's
too early to be critical of the new characters and |
|
First episode
was terrific. So it might be a little scattered with the new |
|
Disappointing.
Nothing new! The opening sequence, designed to orient the I'm tired of seeing Tony pass out. |
| The
sister does not work but I think we will have to get used to her for a while,
maybe the other sister would have been a better fit. Too many new characters at one time and next week there will be at least one more. They should have eased into the Christopher thing. Last season he is a want to be screen writer and now a broker were is the transition. One thing remains the same, however, the classic Soprano beat downs are funny how those two guys beat that broker under the desk was the best scene of the episode |
