Episode 44- Pie-O-My ......... aired 10/13/02

I have to say I feel I'm a very patient person, but it's wearing a bit thin these days.

The episode name comes from Ralphie's new race horse. There is a lot of time spent surrounding the horse in this episode. Tony is happily taking a cut on the winnings for this stake horse, but in the end he's paying the vet bill on a horse that may never run again.

On the home front, Carm is still insisting on investments. Tony talks to the accountant and finds out that one of the suggested trusts creates a problem in case of divorce. For some reason he is spending a lot of time thinking about this issue. He decides to "keep her happy" by opening an investment account but won't sign the papers for the trust. He's still being very secretive about the stashed cash. He keeps telling Carm money is tight.What's he up to?

Janice is spying on Bobby and trying to move in for the kill. Is Bobby smart enough to figure it all out? I think his character is going to turn dirty this season. That loveable guy is going to turn rotten.

Ade is still being hounded by the Feds. She found out that Big Pussy and her Uncle Richie are not in the witness protection program tonight! She seems to not know too much, but she's suddenly being more exposed to "family business". The guys are now hanging out in her club. Is she playing dumb or is she really dumb? Tonight she tells Christopher she wants to move to California. She's always been reluctant to do IV drugs, but tonight she looks totally wasted and shoots up. Will she end up committing suicide? She's avoiding everyone, it's going to look very suspicious soon.

Uncle Junior is still on trial, but there is never much about the trial taking up air time. His beef tonight is his so called charicature from the court room sketch. He gives the guy a dirty look on day 2 in this episode. The artist looks very intimidated.

Tony hasn't been to see Dr. Melfi in the last 2 episodes........ Why not?

There really isn't a whole lot to say about this episode, only more questions!

What happened to Johnny Sack? Is he dead?

Does Tony know about the Ralphie and Janice breakup?

Is Carm trying to get the money tied up so she can leave Tony and still have access to it?

Is Carm going to get together with Furio?

What ever happened to that Russian in the woods?

Will Dr. Melfi ever tell Tony about the rape?

Why was Melfi's psychiatrist following Tony in the parking garage?

Scenes from next week look interesting and apparently Gloria will return!

We need more music! Even though there are a couple of short songs per epidose I think some of the episodes are more bland because there is a lot less music. The acting is still strong, but the writers need to focus.
